BlackRock is ready to launch AI for investors 

BlackRock announced that from January 2024 it is ready to provide customers with artificial intelligence service. AI will help make investment decisions.

Can this be considered an investment revolution?

I have repeatedly said that the name "artificial intelligence" is rather conditional. In essence, it is a program that is able to collect information, analyze it and propose a solution based on the purpose.

The fact that the task is complex is obvious, it is also obvious that AI aid will certainly increase the performance and returns of investors.

However, the approach itself is not new and revolutionary. Trading robots have been in use for a long time, they are used by almost all investors working with stock assets.

Of course, modern artificial intelligence surpasses a trading robot as a powerful computer surpasses mechanical accounting. If the robot analyzes the behavior of the asset using rigidly defined algorithms, then AI "looks" at the problem much wider, it takes into account many third-party factors. A trading robot is not able to solve strategic tasks, fully assessing the asset’s value and prospects. And the AI can do that, and it’s quite possible that it will do that assessment faster and more accurately than any human.

So AI users will have a clear advantage. 

However, the same was true of the first commercial robots. Their owners were predicted to dominate the market. It wasn’t long ago, and almost all the investors got trading robots. More or less equal competition continued, only at a new technological level. Robots are optimized, and there’s a war of programmers fighting to have their robot make decisions a hundredth of a second faster than the competition.

The same will happen with AI. Competitors will quickly introduce their own trading systems with artificial intelligence. There will be a general rise in the productivity of exchange trade, the role of the human factor will be reduced. 

We have a fascinating battle of different AI. They will be enthusiastic to fight each other, and fight with great passion... If our AI doesn't come together.
