It’s a year. What does he leave us?

The passing year brought to the everyday dictionary many new words, which previously could meet except in fiction literature and cinema. Artificial Intelligence, Chatbot, Metaverse. 

Of course, a year ago we knew what those words meant, but we only knew it theoretically.

Artificial Intelligence. We’ve all seen the Terminator and imagined what a bad inhuman mind can be. However, there was no moral preparation for his appearance. I cannot say that now we have a Skynet-level AI from Terminator, but what there is quite impressive.

AI is already integrated into our world, successfully solving both technical and creative tasks. If a year ago there was one application (from OpenAI), which could be quite conditionally called a full-fledged AI, currently at least a dozen projects present their versions of "smart software".

Speed of technology development is amazing. Almost all large IT companies in one way or another participate in the development of AI, the resources for its improvement are very serious. Most likely next year we will see even more exciting results of work around Artificial Intelligence.

ChatGPT has become a communication tool between man and artificial intelligence. Practical results appeared almost immediately: work with a variety of content (text, images) simplified fundamentally. It’s very interesting what we’ll see next year.

Metaverses. This is really inspiring. And it is nice that we guessed with the trend, when more than a year ago we planned to start developing their own Metaverse. We invest in the development of Metaverse serious drawings, however, they cannot even go into comparison with what invests in similar projects, for example, Meta Zuckerberg. And this inequality is good for us, we have to be more creative, more precise. As a result, we already have a workable version of Metaverse.

Next year I expect a massive "resettlement" in Metaverses. As with AI, almost all large IT companies develop their own digital worlds. And this is good, because competition provides development. I do not exclude that soon we will see the merge of Metaverses and the appearance of one super- Metaverse. Within a year, we will gain practical experience of living in Metaverse, which will allow us to deal with its optimization.

Currently, it is difficult to forecast. Therefore, it is even interesting to see how my wishes coincide with reality.
