When we buy something, we pay not only with money but also with the time of our lives. After all, we earn this money by spending a limited resource on it - the time of our existence.


The realization that time is flowing away irrevocably and cannot be stopped or “bought” gives rise to thoughts.


We are ready to spend years in order to feel a momentary joy but we forget that we are missing a lot of opportunities to just live: to enjoy communication with loved ones and to do what is really interesting.


On the other hand, giving up material goods and comfort also limits freedom - after all, money expands our capabilities. Therefore, the main thing is to learn to find a reasonable balance without losing sight of the value of every moment given to us.


It is doubtful that it is worth getting up every morning with the same thought that today will pass just like yesterday. It is doubtful that you want to continue to work at a job you don’t like.
