Elon Musk made a point that at least gave us pause for thought. He warns that the development of AI will lead to humanity losing meaning in life.


Imagine that the technical evolution will be accelerated, and the Supermind will be born. Okay, not "Super", but a very smart machine. Parallel to the development of robotics, we have numerous robots that can perform labor-intensive tasks. So, we’re surrounded by really smart AI, and smart machines. AI thinks better than us, machines work better than us. What do people do? Will humanity retire or be destroyed by a more perfect species? 


In such a paradigm, the future will indeed be sad. But will machines really surpass humans? 

First of all, we still do not know the real capabilities of humans. Why do we think that further evolution of human intelligence is impossible? And why we think that machine intelligence will really surpass human intelligence in every respect. Already announced super-intelligent machines are capable of answering any question... But is it able to ask a question?


Indeed, there is a risk of being left behind by civilization. However, we see AI as an assistant rather than an alternative to humanity.
